The idea for Bellacarisma first emerged when I was recovering from a life-altering health issue.  I realized that I needed to change my life in order to be a happy, healthy person. I jumped off the corporate media merry-go-round I had been riding for more than 25 years and after taking some jewelry classes realized I had at last found work that seems like play and which adds a deep satisfaction and peace to my everyday life.

Inspiration for my designs is easy to find in nature, my relationships with friends and family and travel.  I’ve been fortunate to have travelled around Europe and China, seeing amazing sights and being exposed to a multitude of cultures.  All these elements influence my work.
